- Analysis of the ECU’s hardware structure, which consists of in-depth understanding of electronic concepts applied to the motorcycle line;

- Techniques for mapping and analyzing circuits with a multimeter and oscilloscope;

- Advanced bench simulations, making it possible to analyze and compare different signals received and issued by an ECU;

- Interpretation of electrical diagrams for the repair of electronic modules;

- Interpretation and practical application of DATASHEETS (manufacturing manuals for electronic components

- Studies of common defects and their solutions (present and intermittent failures);

- Work routines designed based on the company's years of market experience in the area of repair of motorcycle modules.used in ECUs);

- tools you will use on a daily basis;

REPAIR OF MOTORCYCLE MODULES

1st DAY - STRUCTURE OF AN ECU

Knowledge of the power supply and protection circuit, signal and input processing circuit and command circuit for important actuators.

2nd DAY - PROGRAMMING CONCEPTS

Programming concepts and exchange of input files. How to identify different memory models present in an ECU, as well as choose the appropriate files and use programmers to carry out this file exchange.

 3rd DAY - WORK RUTINES

Work routines to be carried out for each specific ECU defect. We will study defects in the circuits.

communication, sensors and actuators. Rehearsal techniques and routines that must be carried out in each situation.

4TH DAY - SIMULATIONS AND DIAGNOSTICS

Simulations, readings of signals and diagnoses of modules betrayed by students. Presentation of the “ECU Repair” software and how to use it to locate circuits in the ECU.

5th DAY - TALLER

Techniques for opening sealed modules, used equipment and correct ways to open them, as well as cleaning these modules without damaging them. Module repair workshop with instructor support.
